well, we already have a site for the game, but at the moment is only used by the developers... we might open it to the public when we release the first version...

Hey,

I could need an American voiceactor for some lines (with a mature sounding voice) for some ingame lines (radio transmissions like "we have taken the lead" etc..)

So if you have a mic and some time just write here Wink

I actually like the concept of this game but is there any chance bots would be added to first pubic release of this game??
Nuketown with World War guns would be WoW factor. Razz

Don't suspect Grunts to be good actors either

small updates to keep the forum alive (Laugh out loud):

- new playermodels are now in (video coming soon to moddb)
- code has been cleaned up and re-arranged (there qc is 95% free
from old ID/Quake stuff, compiled progs.dat is 240kb)
- New engine with many fixes and cool stuff (PSP friendly HLBSP, external
textures, WAD3 support, particle from Revamped (i just love the shape)..
- Sadly im kinda stuck with getting maps finished and the damn teamplay
issue (different models for each team)..

New Artificial Intelligence in action, nothing recycled from Quake..
The base AI is from Coffee´s tutorbot and its alot smaller and easier to use than Quakes AI and Frikbots mess.
They can free roam the maps without waypoints, will check for ledges and jump (or avoid them if too high), also they can die when they are too long in the water.
The enemys will now randomly escape when their health reaches a critical amount.
Sadly they currently cant use doors (but they SHOULD), but im fixing that.
Mappers can place them using spawnflags for Idling or Roaming.

New Custom HUD (WiP) using just very small lmp pics and DrawString (ColoredString soon):
Unlike in my old engine its not "h4xx0r3d" into Quakes HUD, its only avaible via startup command similar to kurok.

firt person legs... a real shame that almost no fps game has a feature like this xD
They are following the player and are sync with the frames, and they are only shown to the player
(drawonlytoclient).

I wasnt very happy to make another egoshooting game so im going to change a few things.
First is:
All playermodels will be replaced with little ponies, and the game will be only playable in third person view.

The ponies will have the weapons mounted on their back...

Looking back at the pictures on the developmental diaries on COW's official page, compared to the most recent ones, you've came a LONG way with progress, Mabuse. Even if you only have one fully completed map, everything else appears MUCH better than it was before. I can't wait to pick up this for my PSP, and hopefully one day for my Nvidia Shield, too.

I actually approve of this.
Would we possibly get pink camos and the ability to puke rainbows on top of this. I have never seen a game that allows you to puke rainbows and I think the mechanic will be a great addition to the game.

You gotta love "HD" graphics.

My original plan was to make a sequel to my April fools joke from last year, but I didn't have enough time to be honest.
