So I've gotten further into my quest of getting Windows 7 to look like 98.
This is the normal Classic theme for the Start menu using ClassicShell. Had Text Smoothing off... (Click on the image to see it)
Here is my modified version to give it the look of Windows 98. (Click on image to see it)
Things new-
--Created a custom Start Button. (Created using GIMP 2)
--Created a correctly colored/re-sized Caption Bar. (Used Paint to save to a correct BMP file then implomented the BMP file using Resource Hacker)
--Solid select. (Feature built into ClassicShell.)
--Turned off Text Smoothing. (Feature built into ClassicShell.)
Things I need for ClassicShell.
--Windows 98 Icons.
Other things I need.
--A separator between the start button and the Quick Launch bar as well as one on the right side of the Quick Launch bar.
EDIT: Unlocking the Taskbar adds the separators. (Click on image to see.)
