Hey there! So basically this is going to have my experience with xFx Support/RMA.

So 2 days ago I sent a support ticket out to xFx support about my GPU not working correctly, after the staff read threw what I typed up, they decided I should have it sent in for repairs or replacement ie RMA. So far so good. The problem is that I've never sent a package anywhere in my life. I have everything I need so far so I'm not worried about it.

Now they sent me a form to fill out that also included their policy for RMAs. Basically if it needs repair, they'll repair it. If it needs to be replaced, they'll either place it with the same model or replace it with a GPU that has the same performance not garenteeding value, features, or even brand. (I could send out my AMD R9 285 2GB and receive a NVidia GTX 770 2GB so who knows what I'll get when I get it back.)

Now the other thing is that my issue is hard to reproduce, it's random. It could happen within 10 minutes or not happen at all. It's annoying. I'm hoping that they notice that it's not performing the way it should and replace it.

The funny thing is that I should not have gotten any replies till tomorrow do to Chinese new year as that's what the support page said so so far everything is going great. I mean I wouldn't mind getting a GTX 770. Another guy got an upgrade because they were out of his model. I'm curious as to what this will amount too.

Have you guys ever RMAd' or talked to computer support?

Alrighty, it's been about a week since I updated this post so I'm updating it now.

I just got my card in shipping today.  It was pretty easy although the guy at the desk thought it was weird that they wanted a copy of the email on the outside of the package.  I did too, there's no new information on the email.  At first he thought they just wanted the RMA number and the other information that was on the package already but I read it to him, "Please position a copy of this email along with the Returns number XNAR20156 on the outside of the packaging."  So hopefully they get it, fix it up and or replace it, and send it back.

It'll be about a week before I hear anything from them.

It's now a day after my package's estimated delivery date. The tracking info says it's left New York yesterday so it'll probably be there at some point. I've been getting worried as I've never sent out a package before >.<

I really shouldn't be worried as I packaged it up in what it was sent to my house in.

[EDIT]
Looks like the package was delayed,
USPS wrote:The package is delayed and will not be delivered by the expected delivery date. An updated delivery date will be provided when available. Your item departed our USPS origin facility in JAMAICA, NY 11430 on February 25, 2016 at 3:08 pm. The item is currently in transit to the destination.

Today is two weeks after the RMA was first submitted.  I shipped my package two days ago and it's estimated delivery date was the 24th.  Do to it getting delayed in NY and didn't tell me that it was delayed for a few days after I was getting a little worried about it but Five (somebody almost none of you know) said that it's pretty normal for this time of year.  After that it popped over to Cali to again hit a snag.  The Business was closed.

USPS wrote:Your item is being held at the Post Office in ONTARIO, CA 91761 on February 27, 2016 at 9:03 am because the business was closed. The item will be delivered the next delivery day that the business is open. If this item is unclaimed after 15 days then it will be returned to the sender.

So unless they are on vacation for 2 weeks ahead I don't need to worry about anything.

The other annoyance is the tracking mail website. IE this one USPS Official It stops working for hours on end, I finally got to check my shipping info after 48 hours of waiting. 48 HOURS! And that's the third time. The first couple times was only part of the day.

It finally arrived safe and sound! Now onto XFX's side of the news once they inform me if it passed their tests or not. If it does not then bam, needs replacement and or repair. If it passes then they're just gonna send it back meaning it wasn't the GPU causing the issue although I think it is as I haven't had the issue since I removed the card.

If it's not the issue there's always the PSU.

Good news again!  The card was replaced with a card with the same exact model numba so this card is a new card!  They just gave me the tracking number for shipping 4 hours ago.  Fedex says it'll arrive the 14th.  A entire month after I first posted the first post in this topic.  Didn't take as long as I thought actually.  It would've been probably last Friday if my shipping wasn't delayed so much (when my card would've arrived at my house).  10 day difference do to business days.

I may do an unboxing of the RMA and upload it when I have my own internet back.

Alrighty!  Do to my Webcam being a piece of junk (I have two Logitech Webcams both 1080p with the same issue) I was unable to do an unboxing BUTT I got more with the card then expected.  I was expecting some generic box with a driver disk and the GPU in it but instead I ended up with a fresh in the box GPU, never been opened!  It came with the manuals, ads, driver disk, and even the HDD to 6 pin connector hook ups.  I thought that was interesting seeing as their policy states that I would NOT be receiving any of that. I'll chat about the rest of my sturf later when my internet is working better.
