Just something i put together in about 15 min and not allot of thaught into it either...

In The End

In 2011 the Doctor Janet Woods had found a cure for cancer. Cancer starts when cells in a part of the body start to grow out of control. The United States government decided to distribute the drug without proper testing due to the demand. The drug was released to ever state along with vaccinations to keep from getting cancer which was very much untested in human subjects.

Four months after the drug was released to the public an outbreak of an unknown disease ravaged the West coast. The symptoms started out with a heavy cough and a high fever then progressed into mild seizures and aggression then death. Doctor Janet Woods was the specialist on the new disease.

Two weeks after the first initial out break the disease seemed to progress into more than what they originally thought. People where in a panic all over the world. Riots started everywhere on a global scale. The United States army was deployed to control the riots and quarantine the outbreak.

Eventually the outbreak spread all over the world and could no longer be controlled. As time went on the disease mutated. The effects increased anger and aggression and put people in a zombie like state. The human was fully conscious of its actions but unable to control themselves. Humans experienced massive amounts of pain during the transition from a health human to an infected.

One month latter 84% of the US population where infected. The streets where quiet and littered with the dead and dying. People who were not infected made a dash for the nearest outbreak centers. Less than half of the people who made a run for it actually made it to the front steps of the hospital in Atlanta Georgia.

Chapter I: The dash

I’m twenty-two years old and I’m an US Marian on leave. I was heading home to see my friend John Taylor when I hear the radio announcer give a public service announcement about staying indoors or get to the nearest outbreak center or hospital. Just as I looked down to turn up the radio a man jumps out from behind a parked car and the front of my truck clips him in the right shoulder.

I slammed the brakes and looked back. The man’s lower arm was hanging from his elbow by a small piece of flesh. As I look in astonishment the man makes a run for a little girl on the side of the street. I get out of the car with the pistol my brother gave me and fire twice. Bothe shots made a hit in the upper body area. The man drops ad slides into the curd and stops. The little girl is screaming as the girl’s mother runs to her and carry’s her into the apartment building. The man I shot slowly gets up without a word and turns his head to the point it seems it’s going to snap and looks into my eyes. His eys looked black and cold like a black birds eyes. I slowly walk back to my car. Just as I reach the handle the man makes a run at me. I raise my small pistol and put a bullet between his cold lifeless eyes and he dropped before my feet.

Great Story! I was very into the story. Immersed. I would like to read more. I think it is better as a novel rather than a Game. Keep writing!

Books are always better than the movie. (mostly) I'd like to read it Steven, but my eyes are too tired.

Most likely because if they add in every detail, then the movies gonna be way longer. They have to cut out things

Okay, I read through it and while your style is nice and surprisingly quite grammatically correct, the idea sounds a whole lot like Twenty-Eight Days Later.

dude, the movie was totally different from the book. They changed the story...the only thing that was the same was characters and settings
