I want to learn coding

Ok, this is what I want to learn for Halo Revamped:

Make armor abilities such as armor lock, sprint, and Drop Shield
Have the bots to be able to get in the vehicles also
Energy Sword one-hit kill
Change the health bar to the one you see in the picture below



I want to Change the assault rifle to this ^


This will be the model of the gun that lays on the ground ^

I really don't know how long this would take, but it'll be great for playing on a trip. I want to learn this stuff just to make Halo Revamped better and the best homebrew. So if anyone can give me a good tutorial on how to code or model just to make weapons or change them, it will be very apreciated.

It would be cool to see the old one to continue to be worked on. I wish I new how to do stuff because I would help you but I am not good at anything...

The old one? Which one? Are you talking about the one that had the story?

That assault rifle has too many verts, and is too high poly. The game won't even load.

Learn to do more simple actions, and understand QC before you want to start coding in things, that are even somewhat a challenge to me.

Alright thanks, I'm gonna first try changing the color of models and such. I've been reading one of your tuts about making the sounds, so I'm gonna try to make the energy sword do the slash sound when I swing it.

@Mexi, since there are too many verts, how bout changing the game cache to max in the recovery menu under "advanced"?

You would have to change it in the engine code.

Don't learn how to program specific features! Learn the fundamentals so you can figure out how to program those features on your own and don't have to ask.
