The Forum Rules [Updated: October 4, 2017]

I am going to assume you guys are decent people and have some sense as I am writing these rules.

1. No "l33t" talk on here:
-If you are posting, type to the best of your abilities
2. Don't swear excessively.
  -Since it's been just me here (Mario/Mewio) and I could careless about swearing, please be smart about it.
3. Grave-digging:
  -I know this is outlawed on a lot of Forums, but I don't really care.
4. Double Posts [Forum only!]:
 -Don't do it unless you have valid reason and or it's been 24 hours or more after your last post in that topic.
5. Be respectful to others:
 -Treat others how you would want to be treated, unless you Like Pain, then you probably shouldn't be here  
6. Don't post nonsense:
-Don't just go in a thread and post something so obvious. Make sure you post is relevant to the thread.
7. Do not post links to any dangerous websites/downloads:
-This includes Viruses, Rogues, Trojans, ECT.
8. Do not posts links/pics/videos to anything that leads to inappropriate websites/media:
-We don't need any porn people.
9. Do not post links to pirated/leaked software:
-This includes video games/any software.
10. Do not create multiple accounts to do the following:
-Boost reputation, to double post/reply/agree/disagree with yourself, to spam, or to impersonate another member of the forum.  Back up accounts are acceptable.  If you're worried, you just need to ask.
11. If you see anyone violating these rules or any bots, please report them to: Mario or Alex. (May change in the future to who you report to)
-Do not report things like double posts or people being off-topic.  A link to what is being reported will be helpful.
12. Respect these same rules in our Discord group and Chatango!:
-Just because they're different clients does not mean these rules do not apply!
13. Fake emails/burner emails will not be tolerated!
-More info on what a burner email/DEA is can be found here!
14. Have fun.
-Sit down, have a cup a tea.  Post some cool stuff in the off-topic area and check out all the mods and games on this forum.  Hang around at the chat box.  Introduce yourself if you want.

DewmBot is our bot that we use on our Discord.  Please read through these rules to help keep yourself safe with the bot.  Currently the bot isn't locked down and is free to use but if the bot is abused by users, we will start taking action to lock down the bot.  Please use the .help command to see available commands and a basic description of each.  Keep in mind this bot is owned by Dewm.

1. The bot is not always online.  If the bot is not online, the bot will not function.  If the bot is online, it's music capabilities maybe disabled if Dewm is not around to maintain it.
2.  Do not abuse the Music capabilities of the bot.  If it's abused, we will take action.
-First, DewmBot will be locked to only the Music and or the Memes voice channel.
-Second, we will start restricting access to people who abuse DewmBot.
3. Keep all commands in the dewmbot text channel.
4. If you want to not hear DewmBot, you can right click Dewmbot in the voice channel list and tick the mute button.

All it needs is a respect the forums picture.

for the respect the forums, i suggest making a Spartan shooting an elite, and a speech bubble where there is gibberish. The elite is the spammer, of course.

Also, keep your promises is a good rule. You don't want someone to say they are making a gravity hammer model, then say they give up.

1337 means elite(or eleet). it started out as an alternative english language hackers used back in the DOS days.

Hay mexi. I don't see why this isn't locked. Nobody should have a reason to post here.

Updated the Double posting rule since the forum doesn't acknowledge that the post has been edited ie the edit will show but it wont show on the icon that new activity happened in that topic. (I changed the font red for what the new part of the rule is.)

Update to the Rules. Where it's bold and underlined in this quote is what has been updated. (We are getting more new members so I thought I should add some more important rules and yes, having fun is an important rule.)

Small update to the Rules, I removed the 'Ban for 3 days if you can't type properly rule'  (Never noticed that was there till someone pointed it out.  Really Mexi?  XP  Other then that, a couple things re-written for better understanding.

Added Alex to one of the Members you can report to and fixed a grammar issue.

I also changed "The Rules of This Forum" to "The Forum Rules" as it was starting to bug me. XD

Update to the rules.

Added a new rule and changed #12 to #13 and replaced #12 with the new rule. Please read #12 or all the rules if you have not already.

Added a chatango/Discord specific rule and add [Forum Only] to a rule that does not apply to the Chatango nor Discord

Added DewmBot specific rules and some headers to separate them.

Updated the "no swearing" rule. Some of us that have been here since they were 12-15 are now 7 years older so I could careless about swearing (not that I cared back then but Mexi had it as, "I look down to people who swear"). Just don't be a butt about it. k thx bye
