Hey there! So basically this is going to have my experience with xFx Support/RMA.
So 2 days ago I sent a support ticket out to xFx support about my GPU not working correctly, after the staff read threw what I typed up, they decided I should have it sent in for repairs or replacement ie RMA. So far so good. The problem is that I've never sent a package anywhere in my life. I have everything I need so far so I'm not worried about it.
Now they sent me a form to fill out that also included their policy for RMAs. Basically if it needs repair, they'll repair it. If it needs to be replaced, they'll either place it with the same model or replace it with a GPU that has the same performance not garenteeding value, features, or even brand. (I could send out my AMD R9 285 2GB and receive a NVidia GTX 770 2GB so who knows what I'll get when I get it back.)
Now the other thing is that my issue is hard to reproduce, it's random. It could happen within 10 minutes or not happen at all. It's annoying. I'm hoping that they notice that it's not performing the way it should and replace it.
The funny thing is that I should not have gotten any replies till tomorrow do to Chinese new year as that's what the support page said so so far everything is going great. I mean I wouldn't mind getting a GTX 770. Another guy got an upgrade because they were out of his model. I'm curious as to what this will amount too.
Have you guys ever RMAd' or talked to computer support?
